The Cool School With Ms. Maria Theme Song is catchy, rhythmic, and serves as a perfect captivating opener. Children will start dancing and immediately beg for more. Even Mom and Dad will be caught tapping their feet and hands to the upbeat rhythm.  Children will be counting and singing in Spanish instantly when they listen to the catchy sounds of Uno Dos Tres, and The Spanish Counting Song. They will learn conversational Spanish with spontaneous verve as they listen and sing to Como Esta Usted, Colors, Colours, and Buenos Dias, Buenos Noches. And they’ll count and sing in English too with the help of The Counting Song and Snack Crackers.  In fact, Snack Crackers will subtly introduce them to the concept of subtraction and the meaning of “0.” Spelling is taught in songs like I Know a Word That Starts With S and Spelling With Animals. And say farewell to the traditional ABC song, because Ms. Maria’s ABC  will have kids learning and reciting their alphabet with enthusiastic pizzazz. While listening to the musical, poetic lyrics of Safari Safari and We’re Going on Safari, kids will feel the excitement and wonder of experiencing a genuine safari adventure.  Each song featured on the COOL SCHOOL WITH MS. MARIA CDs provide a new learning experience. Maria Smith not only sings but has also written all the songs and music on the CDs. As a mother of two and with the background as an educator for 26 years, (including 16 years of teaching second graders), Maria has incorporated her own experiences in putting this upbeat learning tool together, knowing full well what captures the attention of young minds.

The COOL SCHOOL WITH MS. MARIA songs have had international exposure. Not only have they been featured on children’s programs on radio stations across the nation, but they have also been heard in Australia and Canada. They can also be heard on KidStar Radio in Arizona and on the World Wide Web. The first CD has been made available to local daycares and kindergarten teachers. In Fort Worth, Texas, Cook Children’s Hospital has been given a copy to use to entertain and educate young patients during their hospital stay.  COOL SCHOOL WITH MS.
