Mysteries Await at Your Library

Mysteries Await at Your Library this summer with Ms. Maria. Working as Agent 00Ms. Maria, she will lead and assist the children to help solve a deep mystery in the library. The book, The History of the Library, is missing. As Agent 00Ms. Maria reads her self- published book, Reed to End the Mystery, she will guide the children in understanding the factors of a mystery story and demonstrate how to solve a mystery. Children will love the characters, especially Reed, the library dog. Additionally, she will use music and songs to teach the makings of a mystery. Children will learn the questions and components that must be answered when solving a mystery: Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. The audience will be invited to participate, encouraging active engagement, and the children will enjoy Ms. Maria’s sidekicks, Cool Cat, and Sleuthie, the hound dog, along the way. Through the magic and mystery of music, storytelling, and interactive experience, the children will walk away with a complete understanding of what comprises a mystery. Who knows? Perhaps she will have inspired some future Agatha Christies in the process.
